How to calculate your house number
Use the street number or building number. Add every digit, then add the digits of the total until one digit remains. Example: 248 becomes 2 + 4 + 8 = 14, then 1 + 4 = 5.
This numeric-first method follows the digit-addition approach illustrated in Numerology.com’s house guide. Our option to view the building and apartment separately makes each calculation visible. World Numerology’s Address Analyzer instead combines the building and unit characters and considers the street name. These are different conventions; choose one before interpreting the answer.

Apartments, zeros, and letters
Which part of the address should you use?
Leading zeros do not change addition, but zero may receive symbolic attention inside the compound. This calculator excludes street names. A method that includes them answers a different calculation question.
Letters are handled differently across systems. One method converts A=1 through I=9 and repeats; another reads letters separately. Because the convention is not universal, the calculator reports numeric reduction first and lets you choose whether to add a letter.
